Last year Leanne and Eric Burrell graciously extended to Empire a plot of land in Cazenovia, NY, to grow our very own vegetables and herbs. The inaugural year was a success. Appropriately named “The Gardens at Polo Ridge” this area was once home to the polo fields of Cazenovia. As you might imagine, the soil is incredibly rich with nutrients from the fertilizer produced over years of horsing around. Please enjoy some of our photos of the gardens that bring the Empire an assortment of outstanding seasonal vegetables.
