The Empire Brewing Company Gardens

In the fall of 2007, the Eric and Leanne Burrell graciously extended the Empire Brewing Company an opportunity to grow Empire's sustainability interest in the form of a vegetable, herb and hop garden. Beyond the property, the Burrell's have offered resources invaluable to the garden's success and have worked painstakingly for the past three plus years, along with the Empire team, to create a garden which is has captured both form and function.  Appropriately named "Polo Ridge Potager" this area was once home to the Polo Fields of Cazenovia, New York. As you might imagine, the soil is incredibly rich with nutrients from the fertilizer produced over years of "horse-play". We at the Empire are indebted to the Burrell's for their gracious generosity.
